In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Comrade Xi Jinping's speech to Jinshan on June 12, 2007 that "Baili Garden, Baili Orchard and Baili Vegetable Garden should be the Backyard Garden of Shanghai", on the morning of June 12, 2017, Zhang Weigang, UnBai Jinbo, Standing Committee of Jinshan District Committee, Minister of the United Front Department, Zhu Aiping, Vice-Minister of the United Front Department, United Front Department, District Office, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Agricultural Commission, Luxiang Town and other relevant responsible persons attended the event and discussed and exchanged.。

This study held a symposium in Langxia Strawberry Academy. The meeting was chaired by Professor Zhou Wuzhong, Director of Innovation and Design Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University and Deputy Director of Jinshan District Government Office. He said that Comrade Xi Jinping's three hundred-mile speech not only depicted a blueprint for the construction of beautiful Jinshan, but also pointed out the direction for land use and beautiful urban and rural construction in the suburbs of large cities throughout the country.。

Bai Jinbo, Standing Committee of Jinshan District Committee and Minister of the United Front Department, first delivered a speech, warmly welcoming our teachers and students. Zhu Aiping, Vice-Minister of the United Front Department, introduced the basic situation of Jinshan to Jiaotong Master and students around the three key words of "ocean", "ecology" and "culture" of Jinshan. Subsequently, Shan Shifei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Media and Design of Shanghai Jiaotong University, introduced the background of the event, and encouraged the college students to dedicate their youth to participate in the construction of Jinshan, so that Jinshan can be called the golden mountain of China and become the golden mountain of the whole world. After that, Zhang Qiong, deputy researcher of the District Agricultural Commission, introduced the situation of building beautiful countryside in Jinshan District. Xu Hongqiang, deputy director of the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, introduced the situation of talent introduction in Jinshan District, encouraged students to go to Jinshan for employment and provided high-quality resources for talents.

In the afternoon, Jiaotong University visited Langxia Town Esoteric Botanical Gardening Co., Ltd., Guanpu Cultural Garden and Yeyuan to understand the current situation of Jinshan's agriculture, cultural industry and industrial export, and to further understand the development of Jinshan, so as to lay a good foundation for better follow-up service to Jinshan. The study activities strengthened the work exchanges between Shanghai Jiaotong University and Jinshan District, promoted the overall strategic cooperation between the University and the campus, and provided a high-quality social practice base and a broad design practice platform for Jiaotong University teachers and students. In the future cooperation with Jinshan District, we should give full play to the advantages of professional characteristics of colleges and universities to serve the development of Jinshan, and provide professional talents for the development of Jinshan.
