Recently, the International Society of Design Sciences and Shenzhen Industrial Design Industry Association, entrusted by the Management Committee of Xiongan New District, organized famous universities and other industries at home and abroad to work out the Guidelines for Urban Furniture in Xiongan New District. After on-the-spot investigation, work camps and conferences, six mid-term results of the Guidelines for Urban Furniture in Xiongan New District were formed on the basis of integrating the work results of 12 domestic and foreign compilation units. On June 10-11, the mid-term review meeting and the second working camp for the compilation of the Guidelines for Urban Furniture in Xiongan New District was solemnly held in the conference room of China Construction Industry Publishing House of the Ministry of Housing and Construction. The relevant leaders of Xiongan New District Management Committee and China Xiongan Group attended the evaluation meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Zhou Wuzhong, Chairman-in-Office of the International Society of Design Sciences. Zhao Fengdong, Deputy Director of Planning and Construction Bureau of Xiongan New District Management Committee, delivered a welcome speech and introduced the background, tasks and requirements of the preparation.

The International Society of Design Sciences and the Shenzhen Industrial Design Industry Association invited top experts and professors from the art, architecture and design circles of China, Japan and Korea to form an expert group, which was chaired by a group leader democratically elected by all experts.

Six teams report separately according to the order of drawing lots. On the basis of reviewing documents, inquiries and comments, the reviewing experts generally affirmed all the achievements and gave valuable opinions and guidance. The Expert Group believes that the six units have their own characteristics in compiling the urban furniture guidelines for Xiongan New District, and the entry points are different, forming complementarity. By secret ballot of all experts, the scheme of Innovation Design Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University won the first place. According to the agreement of the task book, 6 teams will be further combined and 3 teams will be formed according to the mode of University + enterprise.

On the morning of June 11, the Bureau of Planning and Construction and the participating editors conducted a second working camp to discuss the task requirements, technical direction, grouping arrangement and schedule of the next stage. According to the work plan, the three teams will submit the final results of the Guidelines for Urban Furniture in Xiongan New District in early July.

The construction of the park adheres to the design concept of "wisdom, security and wisdom city", and the buildings all use high-efficiency and low-cost comprehensive building energy-saving technology. At the same time, public services are all intellectualized and automated. In the Business Processing Center of Citizen Center, AI intelligent robots can provide all-round services for citizens, improve the efficiency of business processing. Hotels can also handle check-in procedures by themselves, and unlock the door by facial recognition, which is efficient and convenient. Auto-driving and unmanned supermarkets have been tested and used in the park. In addition, the concept of green city has also been introduced into the construction of the park, using pervious concrete materials, rainwater collection and storage, to achieve zero discharge of rainwater and sewage, forming a self-circulating system.

On June 12, the team visited the ancient battlefields of Song and Liao Dynasties and Baiyangdian Lake. In order to deepen the design, they collected a lot of local historical, cultural and folklore materials and took a large number of pictures of natural and ecological beauty. With the strong support of the Planning and Construction Bureau of Xiongan New Area Management Committee, China Construction Industry Publishing House and Baiyangdian Scenic Area Management Committee (Anxin County Tourism Bureau), the mid-term review meeting and the second working camp of the compilation of the Guidelines for Urban Furniture in Xiongan New Area have been successful.
